Although I like a krinkle cookie, I think the cookie marketing department went overboard by putting krinkle in the name. I can’t really for the life of me figure our why there is any real emphasis put on the krinkles. It looks neat with the sugar around the the krinkly crevasses, but I am not sure if there is anything to it. Of course, if its history is solely around the quest for a cookie that dunks better than any other cookie, I suddenly get it! Those crevasses could definitely hold more milk or cold brew coffee or whatever you dunk them in.

How To Make Chocolate Krinkle Cookies – Who Cares About The Krinkles – What About How To Bake Them?

As cookies go, there is not much new to say – Mix the dry ingredients – Whip the wet ingredients and sugar until fluffy – incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet. Scoop, roll into balls, bake. Boom! All the rules still apply like – use butter, use great cocoa powder, use good quality 70% cocoa chocolate, etc.
